We specialize in Advanced Intelligence and International Intelligence Training courses provided by the men and women of the 313th Training Squadron. As the newest intelligence training squadron in the 17 Training Group, the Nighthawks are primed to train and educate military and civilian professionals in specific skillsets along with broadening their understanding of the Continuum of Learning and instill a lifelong desire to learn. Our advanced intelligence courses turn ISR professionals into ISR experts.

Who We Are

We’re a small squadron with less than 60 staff members but on average we train 200 students daily and graduate over 1,700 annually while still supporting worldwide deployments.

Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Blackledge is the commander for the 313th Training Squadron, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas. He leads 70 Airmen providing world-class international, mission-qualification, as well as intermediate and advanced ISR training to develop and inspire professionals for the Department of Defense and its international partners.

Chin Tam

Maj Chin Ki “Noah” Tam is the Director of Operations for the 313th Training Squadron, GAFB, Texas. He directs day-to-day operations across 16 training courses and drives training for over 2,000 Airmen annually in a multitude of Advanced Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance and International Intelligence training courses.

SMSgt Etheredge

SMSgt Heather L. Celano is the Superintendent, 313th Training Squadron, Goodfellow AFB, Texas. She is the senior enlisted advisor to the commander for matters related to morale, welfare, training and readiness for over 70 military, civilian and contract Airmen who deliver training in 13 advanced intelligence courses to 1,700 students annually. Senior Celano also leads the Senior Enlisted Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Master Skills Course graduating 170 senior leaders annually. This is the Air Force’s only ISR-focused superintendent course.
